Jon & Christi's Wedding

We had a BLAST at Jon & Christi's wedding this past weekend.  Here are a few photos from the day.  I didn't have my camera on me for much of the night, so I don't have a lot of great shots, but you get the idea. :)  Welcome to the family, Christi!!!  

I love the Ribbon Ring!

I purchased a little system called the "Ribbon Ring" this week.  I LOVE IT!  Below are my before and after shots of my ribbon collection.

Katy's dress fitting

Kate is the flower girl in her Uncle Jon's wedding in May.  "Grandma White House" and I took her to a lady in Redwood Falls to get fitted.  Doesn't she look so grown up??  I just wanted to cry.  She's not my baby girl anymore! :(  

My son needs a hair cut!

The title says it all....Jack needs a hair cut....BADLY!  Luckily "Grandma Red House" is coming on Saturday to chop some of this mop off.  It's below his eyebrows!  I do have to say, however, I still think he's adorable. :)

Happy Birthday, Jackie-Bear!

This is a little late, but I wanted to post a few pics of Jack on his second birthday.  I can hardly believe he is already TWO!?!?  They grow up so quickly.  He's been saying so many new words lately and copies EVERYTHING we say.  So cute.

Tonight for some reason he just did NOT want to go to bed - - he sat in his crib yelling for Kate to come into his room b/c he wanted to play and read books with her.  As much as it annoyed me that he didn't want to go to bed when it was WELL after bedtime, it was also very sweet that all he wanted was to be with his big sister.   :)  Kate didn't know what to do - we kept telling her to go back into her room, but she felt badly that Jack wanted her and she couldn't play with him!  Jack is lucky to have such a good big sister. :)

FAMILY SANDWICH!!!!

Brian and the kids were playing "family sandwich" this morning and I had to get a picture of it.  They LOVE to play this game...usually when Brian gets home from work.  Daddy is on the bottom, then the kids pile on top of him and everyone screams "FAMILY SANDWICH!!!" at the top of their lungs.  It's hilarious.  I have a funny family. :)

Six things I am excited about:

1. Both of my children are napping right now...RIGHT NOW!  AT THE SAME TIME!

2. My refrigerator and freezer are literally sparkling clean and I no longer have any icky food or condiments stuck way in the back.

3. Even though not everything is folded, ALL of my laundry is clean.

4. It's super quiet right now at my house.

5. Kate's room is not only clean, but it's ORGANIZED too! (did that one yesterday...)

6. I get to go to Mer's tomorrow to scrap book!
